Robert Womsley, Partner
Robert has more than 20 years of global investment experience. Prior to joining Water Street, he was a Senior Partner with Citi Private Equity, which managed more than $13 billion of direct private equity investments globally. As Head of European operations, Robert led Citi Private Equity to complete more than $1 billion of direct investments across a variety of industries. He was promoted to a number of senior executive positions during his career at Citi including serving as Global Head of its Private Equity Placement group. Previously, Robert was a Managing Director in the Sponsor Coverage group and the Chicago Investment Banking group. Robert currently serves as a Director for Medical Specialties Distributors. He received his bachelor’s degree from Vanderbilt University, and his M.B.A. from the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business.
