Tim Dugan, Managing Partner
Tim is a member of the founding team at Water Street. With more than 20 years of experience in the private equity industry, he has completed more than $3 billion of transactions in healthcare and life sciences companies. Prior to founding Water Street, Tim was a Founder and Partner with First Chicago Equity Capital. He was appointed Managing Partner in 1999, and the following year helped establish and build One Equity Partners, the $5.5 billion private equity arm of JP Morgan Chase. Tim has served as a Director, including non-executive Chairman, of more than 15 public and private companies. He currently serves as a Director of AAIPharma, HealthPlan Holdings, OraPharma and Sarnova. Tim is involved with a number of civic organizations, and serves on the Boards of Providence Englewood Charter School and the Chicago Botanic Garden. He received bachelor’s degrees in Economics and Electrical Engineering from Stanford University, and his M.B.A. from the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business.
