Investment: Water Street purchased PLUS Diagnostics in 2006, when it was a regional laboratory named Lakewood Pathology Associates. Through our industry network, we recruited an experienced management team led by Executive Chairman Tim Brodnik. A lab industry veteran, Tim previously served as President and CEO of American Medical Laboratories (AML), which was acquired by Quest Diagnostics. Our team has worked closely with the management team to expand PLUS Diagnostics’ capabilities into the gastroenterology and hematology/oncology specialties, and extend its services into markets throughout the country to transform the company into one of the nation’s leading independent anatomic pathology laboratories.
