Access MediQuip
Access MediQuip is the nation's first and largest provider of outsourced implantable device management solutions. The company works with thousands of manufacturers, payors and providers to manage the acquisition, financing, delivery and reimbursement of implantable devices such as orthopedic and spinal implants, and implantable drug pumps.
Investment: Water Street acquired majority ownership in Access MediQuip in 2006 with management retaining a significant stake in the company. We leveraged our extensive network of contacts to help the company’s founders recruit senior executives to management and board positions, and facilitated introductions to key customers to drive organic growth. Water Street’s investment also enabled Access MediQuip to invest significantly in its IT infrastructure and create world-class back office operations that are supporting its rapid growth.
