HealthPlan Holdings, Inc. is a leading provider of end-to-end outsourcing services, including distribution, enrollment and customer support, to insurers in the individual, small business, union trust and voluntary benefits markets. It currently supports nearly 2 million people and 100,000 small businesses, as well as the nation’s largest Taft-Hartley funds for unionized workers.
Investment: Water Street acquired HealthPlan in 2008, with management retaining a significant ownership position in the company. Together, we are strategically expanding HealthPlan’s core capabilities to support insurers with attracting and retaining the growing numbers of consumers moving to individual and small business benefit plans. In 2010, we facilitated HealthPlan’s acquisition of GEMGroup to expand its benefit outsourcing services to the union trust market.
