Facet Technologies is the world’s largest microsampling sharps company, producing lancets and lancing devices used in blood glucose monitoring and point-of-care testing. Providing products to the largest blood glucose monitoring original equipment manufacturers in the world, Facet’s blue-chip client base provides it with a tremendous platform to expand into adjacent market segments and further strengthen its leadership position.
Investment: Water Street acquired Facet Technologies from Matria Healthcare in 2006. Our team’s expertise in corporate divestitures facilitated a smooth transition to establishing it as a standalone company. We helped elevate and strengthen Facet’s relationships with key customers and expand its customer channels. We also helped recruit key executives and a world-class board of directors. We continue to work with the management team on strategic opportunities that will expand the company’s leadership position through innovative new products and customer relationships.
